new poem.

The subject was given to us by our teacher where we have to pick some memorable past object of ours and write about it dealing with family. I liked mine.

Good Grief Charlie Brown,
When did you get so old?
Stuck in your newly bought snow globe
You’re older than you think

My mother picked you out
Because you reminded her of me
And our time spent watching you
Make popcorn dinners or picking that one special tree

You and I are more similar than you think
Snoopy knows what I’m talking about
To have that one person care for you so much
And know they’ll always be there for you
Through thick and thin, snowstorm or no snowstorm

And if you ever feel trapped or alone
I’ll give you a good shake and you’ll see life isn’t so bad after all
Because that’s what she does for me.

  2. You think I should? I've never written anything like this for her before so it'll be quite a surprise.
